A Day In The Life… The New Endorser Visit

More often than not, we here at team Shure Artist Relations get asked about the favorite part or parts of our job (there are a few, actually). Yes, yes, there’s the creation of spreadsheets and conference room meetings, what could be more fun you ask? Well, one of those moments is heading out to meet a new Shure endorser who’s come to play a local Chicago venue. Even better than that coveted first encounter is when it is enhanced with a few boxes of shiny new microphones for the endorser in question.

Recently, I met up with new Shure endorsers and Chicago natives Wild Belle, whom were moments away from hitting the road for a three month headlining U.S. tour. The band wanted one last moment to rehearse and luckily local Chicago venue Lincoln Hall was up to the task. The band, FOH engineer and myself all agreed that this would be the perfect time for putting names to faces and microphones to mouths and instruments. I brought along my trusty video camera for this journey to further illustrate this day in the life segment. Let’s watch it together, shall we?
