Congratulations Rhonda Vincent & The Rage!

If you want to see what a busy touring schedule looks like, look up Shure Artist Rhonda Vincent on Google and find her tour schedule. Ever since I meet Rhonda back in 2004, I was very impressed by her performances I had seen at the IBMA Bluegrass Awards. Her group, The Rage, was always super tight.  When I started to find out about how busy she was (over 250 dates a year), it became clear that she is very dedicated to both music and touring.

Before the next year even starts, her calendar is always booked. From January to December, you can hardly see a day off. How could she possibly find time to record a new project, let alone two or more a year!  On her latest CD “Only Me,” Rhonda is joined by Willie Nelson for the title track on this part Bluegrass, part Country CD.  I just received word that the album debuted at #1 on the Billboard Bluegrass Charts. She continues to collect awards and nominations all across the Bluegrass community.  Her latest honor, becoming the 2014 inductee into the Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America’s Hall of Greats. Past inductees include Emmylou Harris, Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs, Roy Acuff and Bill Monroe.

Here’s a recent video of the group with Rhonda singing on her favorite vocal mic, the KSM44A:

We want to wish them a warm Congratulations and safe travels as they tackle those 250 shows this yea
