I’m looking to buy a wireless SM-58 and when I look for it online it often comes paired with a BLX24 transmitter. Then, there’s the BLX4 receiver. Do I need both?

For a simple setup, like connecting something to the mixing table and connecting to the mic, what do I need to purchase?

    Would BLX4 + SM-58 work?

What’s the transmission range? Would 50 feet be in range, or they need to be closer?
