How to Properly Fit and Wear Shure Earphones

It can be a little frustrating trying to figure out how to wear (and get the most from) a simple pair of earphones.  And whether we like to admit it or not, we’ve all been there, trying to identify the right earphone from the left one or sorting through sleeves in the Fit Kit.  Got a couple of minutes?  Good. This brief video will demonstrate how to get the best sound isolation and the most comfortable fit from every Shure earphone.

Can you talk about how the cables would interact with the stems of eyeglasses?

Hi , I purchased a pair of shure se215 m+ limited editions. And everytime I move or turn my head the sound chips in and out, also where the cable meets the earphones are very loose and pop off way too easily. What are my options. These were a pretty expensive purchase for me and I am very impressed with the quality of the earphones but I would hate to have to give up on the product only days of usage.

I recently bought a pair of Shure SE215 earphones. Right out of the box, the right earbud was not working. I contacted you guys on email and twitter, and the only reply I received is that I need to contact a centre located in another city. Horrible product and after-sales. I just want a refund.

      Hi Devarsh!

Please contact the distributor for your area, who can give you the best advice on what to do next. Sun Infonet is the distributor in India, and their email is Thanks!

I recently purchased a pair of the SE535 Limited Editions. My earphones do not seem to have the bendable portion at the monitor side of the cable, and this caused the cables to be somewhat reluctant to stay behind the ear. Do you have any advice?

I have used the low end shure 110, 115 and 210. these are far SUPERIOR to the high end from sony or bose. I have gotten looks from people on the train for wearing my earbuds the correct way, but it is the only way. Anyone who asks me, Shures are the best. and if there is any doubt i just point them to virtually any stage performer and show them what is in their ears. BAM!

I think that the best feature of the earphones -besides the fantastic sound they provide- is the possibility to change wires when they brake. See how the wires bend, even in the “correct” way to fit thye device. Blessings!!!
