Juno Award Nominees Highlight – Rock Album of the Year

Hello again, friends! In my post last week, I introduced you to the Juno Award Nominees for Pop Album of the Year. This week, we are going to take a look the nominees for Rock Album of the Year.

Again, these are all great albums, and I can’t wait to see which one will be honored on March 30th when the Juno Awards take place. Below are the albums via Spotify so you can hear each album and choose a favorite for yourself. At the bottom of this post, you can see who my favorite is to win.

And the nominees are…

  • Love + Fury by Headstones

  • Coyote by Matt Mayes

  • Arrows Of Desire by Matthew Good

  • Furiosity by Monster Truck

  • Transit of Venus by Three Days Grace

I have really enjoyed two albums in this category. One is exactly what I would expect and in my opinion a clear favorite to win it. The other is not a clear favorite and not an album I would put next to the other ones, which is why I’m secretly pulling for it to win.

The obvious favorite, Transit Of Venus by Three Days Grace. These rockers keep rocking out right and releasing great albums after another. So, who is my sleeper pic? That would be Coyote by Matt Mayes. I highly recommend you take the time to listen to this great album.

Next week, we will take a look at the nominees for Breakthrough Artist of the Year.

Rock out!
