Shure Notes email newsletter subscribers submit their burning audio questions every month, and we pick one to publish in the email and here. This month, we focus on earphone cables with Lightning® connectors.
Question: Will Shure make earphone cables that work with iPhone 7?
Several subscribers asked about Shure listening product compatibility with the new iPhone 7, which does not have a headphone jack. (It does, however, include a 3.5 mm adapter that works with Shure listening products.)
Shure product support answered:
While we can’t speak publicly about products in development, we can say that Shure is committed to offering earphones and headphones that are compatible with the most popular mobile devices, including Apple products. Learn more about Shure products in Apple Inc.’s MFi program.
