Saturday @ CMA Music Fest

Yep….still hot outside.  I think I’m going to lose 5 lbs just this weekend. 🙂

I first stopped out at LP Field to see how the ‘ were going for the evening concerts.  Rascal Flatt’s drummer Jim Riley has got a nice new kit from Ludwig.  It’s monsterous…and full of Shure mics!

I then went over to the Riverfront to catch a few acts.  While up at the mix position, I caught a shot of a dragonfly that decided to land in the most peculiar place.

Later, I took an uphill walk to the Music City stage to catch Rhonda Vincent and the Rage.  She love’s that KSM44!  Then I returned to the Riverfront to catch the end of Joe Nichols set.  His new album is doing quite well…Congrats Joe!

Later that night, Jamie O’Neal started the evening off belting out the National Anthem.  She’s got such a great voice!!  Newcomer’s Randy Hauser and Easton Corbin opened up the show, both on KSM9 wireless.  Rascal Flatts finished out the night with a bang…literally.  Fireworks!

Another fantastic night of performances.
