A quick trip to Montreal to check on the Canadian music scene Back in the states and making a stop to see Dr. John at Space in Evanston... ...this is a really cool room ...pizza parlor in the front ...studio in the back eat. perform. cut a record. Later that day... a visit to the Vic Theatre That's love right there. This is the view from Chris Robinson's position A view from the side of the stage... ...and the view from front of house. Crowes tour manager's dog exhausted post show. Checking out an indoor skate park while a punk band screams behind me. Mexican food and mariachi, southside style! Almost a year ago to the date was the first time I was able to catch Lizz perform and in the same venue at that. This time around I came armed with a video camera to shoot her Shure endorser interview.

Even before the tape was rolling she was talking about how her KSM9 had been her solid go-to since she got it nearly a year ago. She mentioned that, while she likes the character of each room she visits, the character of the KSM9 was what she felt brought forth the truest representation of her voice. It’s a voice that ought to be heard in its truest timbre.
