Dave Mustaine rocks out in GLX-D Webinar

About a mile off the 101 in Oxnard, California sits an industrial park surrounded by mountains off in the distance. Inside one of these buildings sits the Drum Channel video facility where the walls were about to be shaken by shredding guitar riffs. For on Tuesday April 15, legendary Megadeth founder and frontman Dave Mustaine came in as a guest of Shure to help us show off our amazing GLXD16 wireless system during a live webinar hosted by Guitar Center.

We were very excited when Dave agreed to be a part of this.  We sent him a system early so he could spend some time with it.  He asked me if I thought it was a good idea to use it on his upcoming show with the San Diego Symphony.  I said “give it a try.”  So he did…and it worked flawlessly.  You’ll hear about how that show went and what Dave thinks about this great new system during the webinar below. You also get the chance to hear Dave playing along with 2 songs from Megadeth’s new album Super Collider. Jenn Liang-Chaboud from our Market Development team co-led this event with yours truly.

So grab your favorite beverage, a few snacks and spend some time with Shure, Dave, and GLX-D.
